FAQ - Photo Sessions

There are a variety of locations to choose from! Depending on where you are located, we can take them indoors, in nature, in the city, etc.!
I am based in Utah County but can travel anywhere!

We can discuss specific a meeting spot beforehand, and I always check my phone as I arrive, so you can text, email, call me if there are any troubles!

Absolutely! I am highly experienced with posing people of all group sizes, ages, bodies, and relationships. I will have many posing ideas and can guide you through each of them step by step. I always pay attention to details and focus on flattering poses. If you have any posing inspiration, I am happy to follow your ideas too!

These are your photos, so you should wear what you like best! It is important to consider what feel you want your photos to have. For a fall family session, I recommend matching with earthy neutral colors. For a spring session, maybe you want to embrace more pastels! For slimming effects, wear something not too baggy, but not too tight. At the end of the day, wear what will show off your unique personality!

Not a problem! I prioritize capturing a genuine smile while photographing someone, and have a variety of humorous techniques that I frequently use — regardless of age!

If we reach the end of the session time, and would like more photos taken, I will do my best to accomodate and extend the session based on my hourly rate, if I am available. It is ideal to book plenty of session time in advance, in case I am busy and cannot extend the session!
FAQ - Booking and Payment

Go to the “Booking Inquiries” tab at the top of this website. Fill out that form, and I will contact you within 2 business days by email or text so that we can plan out your session, and any specific needs!

All sessions are priced at a flat rate, and some will have an additional travel fee. I require 50% of this total price, at the time of booking. This allows me to reserve your session on my calendar! The Booking Deposit goes toward your final payment. After we take the photos, you will owe just the remaining 50%.

The easiest payment method is Venmo. I do accept cash as well. Tips are always accepted and appreciated.
Checks and wire transfers are not accepted. If you need another payment method, please talk to me directly!

There are a variety of reasons you may have to cancel your session. In the majority of cases, I will confirm that your session has been cancelled, and the booking deposit will not be refunded, unless you choose to reschedule your session with me!
FAQ - Miscellaneous

While I do not have a studio, I do have studio lighting equipment! This means that we can achieve a studio-look in any indoor space. Alternatively, we can rent out a public photo studio for an additional fee.

Final galleries are delivered within 1-2 weeks after we take them. If you need them by a certain date, please let me know and we can discuss options.
*Weddings or large events are an exception, and may take up to 6 weeks maximum.
*December is my busiest month. Photo sessions around Christmas may take slightly longer.

I provide all of the unique good photos that we capture! Because this can vary by session, I do not guarantee a final number of photos. Most sessions average between 100-200 photos.

You will receive 2 separate links to your photo gallery, which contains all of the edited digital images, with some black and white duplicates as well. This link can be shared with anyone you chose, and all of the photos can be downloaded at no additional charge.
The first link contains your photos formatted best for social media sharing! The other link is formatted best for you to print your photos!

If you notice something from editting that I didn’t catch, just message me! I will re-edit up to 8 photos for free. More than that will require an editting fee (varies on number of photos and complexity of editting required).
I usually edit true to life, with accurate, vibrant colors. See the photos in my portfolio for my editing styles. If you would like a different editing style, talk to me prior to our session!

In case of bad weather (unusually hot, cold, windy, raining, snowy, etc.) We will be in contact and may decide to reschedule your session at no additional charge.

Yes. I always respect your wishes to not share your photos online. Please just let me know beforehand if this is the case. Sharing your photos helps my business tremendously, so that is always the standard unless asked otherwise.
